Engage Overview
Engage is our solution for content personalization. Content, which can include things like banners, sale announcements, internal ads, and videos, can benefit from using Engage to ensure that it is seen by customers that have demonstrated interest and affinity for those topics.
Engage uses segments and content tagging together with campaigns to give merchants control over how content is displayed, and which users see which content.
You can build one-to-one relationships with all your customers by displaying content that engages them across all buying channels like web, mobile and in-store. Algonomy Engage™ maps individual customer behavior against advanced targeting and audience segmentation tools to enable marketers to personalize campaigns that deliver relevant content.
How It Works
Who does Engage help?
There are two big benefits to Engage: the first is the increased engagement on site, which contributes to conversion and lifetime value of customers, and the second, and equally important benefit, is that having Engage decide what to show programmatically takes a lot of loads off the client’s internal resources and can result in significant cost savings. Both are good selling points to bring up during the sales process. One set of well-written rules in an algorithmic system can do the work of entire teams of manual marketers.
With minimal effort, retailers can create content to be delivered in placements throughout their site, delivering personalized graphics, recommendations and promotions.
On conversion
Increased conversion is not a direct benefit of Engage. It is a secondary benefit, but since there are so many ways that the campaigns can be written, and since so much of it is up to the client, there really is no way we can make that promise. What Engage does aim to do is increase customer engagement and time on site.
