Engage Glossary

The Engage includes the following metrics and terms:

Metric/Term Name Description Formula
Attributable Sales The value of products sold that were clicked on within a Omnichannel Personalization placement.  
Average Order Value (AOV) Average order value (AOV) tracks the average dollar amount spent each time a customer places an order on a website or mobile app. Total Sales Value / Total Number of Orders.
Clicks The number of times customers have clicked on the content.  
Clicks/Session The average number of clicks on content within a session.  
Click Through Rate (CTR) Clicks on content as a percentage of page views. For example, a page contains two content placements. Three users viewed that page. User 1 didn't click on any placement. User 2 clicked on the top placement. User 3 clicked on the bottom placement. The rec clickthru rate is 2/3, or 66.67%. Total Clicks / Total Views
Orders The number of orders that are attributable to the content.  
Revenue Revenue generated from purchased products that are attributable to the content.  
Revenue Per Session (RPS) The overall sales per session. Overall Sales / Sessions
Units The number of product units purchased that are attributable to the content.  
Views The number of times the content has been displayed to a customer.  
Views /Session Number of Content views per session.
