Advanced Merchandising
Overview
The Experience Browser brings to retailers a new Algonomy experience right on their own site. The Advanced Merchandiser item on the menu pops up a window that provides information about the advanced merchandising rules at play in the selected placement.
The Experience Browser offers retailers a quick look into performance without having to go to the Omnichannel Personalization dashboard.
The Experience Browser is not the Dashboard, so its functionality is limited.
Once the Experience Browser has been enabled, Algonomy placements are highlighted in purple. A click on the placement opens a menu of items retailers can explore.
Advanced Merchandising
The Advanced Merchandising item opens a pop-up window that offers insight into the advanced merchandising rules that affected the placement.
The box on the left lists all the AM rules at play in the placement. You can select one or more rules. To exclude all the rules, select the Deselect All checkbox. To the right is a chart that can be shown as a Trendline chart or a Bar Chart. To change to a bar chart, clear the Trendline checkbox.
You can select one of three metrics to view: Views, Clicks or Attributable Sales.
