Placements Report

The Placements Report enables you to measure the impact of specific placements across several key metrics. It presents a graph displaying performance data for a selected metric (defaulted to "clicks on recs") and raw data across all metrics in tabular form. 

The Placements Report on the Omnichannel Personalization dashboard provides insight into several different metrics that measure the performance of Recommend.

To view the Placements Report, on the Omnichannel Personalization dashboard, go to Reports > Placements Report.

The Placements Report allows merchandisers to drill down into the performance data for their placements, across several different metrics with several filters that help them pinpoint exactly the information that they are looking for.

Filters

Any changes to the filters require the user to apply the changes.

To apply the filters, click Apply.

To start over, click Clear Filters.

With all Algonomy reports, the date range is the first option that can be adjusted. You can specify a custom date range by selecting start date and end date, or you can select from a list of presets, such as Week, Month, Quarter, and Year.

Metrics

Users can also choose between several metrics. Changing the chosen metric will immediately refresh the chart and table.

The following metrics are tracked on the Placements Report:

  • Attributable Sales:  The dollar value associated with clicks on recs.
  • Click Through Rate: Clicks on recs as a percentage of page views.  For example, a page contains two placements. Three users viewed that page. User 1 didn't click on any placement. User 2 clicked on the top placement. User 3 clicked on the bottom placement. The rec clickthru rate is 2/3, or 66.67%
  • Clicks on recs: The number of times customers have clicked on recommendations.
  • Items from recs: The number of items purchased from recs.
  • Orders from recs:  The number of orders that contain items from recommendations.
  • Views: The number of times the content has been displayed to a shopper.

Categories

To drill down into specific categories, click Select, choose the category and then click Done.

Currency 

On sites that use more than one currency, the user can choose to see the data associated with that currency.

Pages & Placements

The default setting for this filter is to Select All, but users can clear all and drill down to specific pages and placements.

Region

On region enabled sites, the user can choose to see the data associated with individual regions.

Strategies

With the strategies filter, users can drill down to see how specific strategies are performing and in which placements.

Table

The data table under the chart displays all the data available based on the date range and filter options selected across all the metrics.
