Experience Insights Glossary

The Experience Insights includes the following metrics and terms:

Add to Cart Rate The total number of Add to Carts over the total number of views. Total number of Add to Carts / Total Views.
Average order value The value of Sales over the number of Orders (see Outlier below) Total Sales Value / Total Number of Orders
Campaign Items The sum of all the items per (campaign, strategyid)  
Campaign Orders Total number of orders per (campaign, strategyid)  
Campaign Sales The sum of all the attributable sales for (campaign, strategyid)  
Conversion rate The number of visits with purchase over the total number of visits. Visits-with-Purchase / Visits
Fraction of visits Percentage of Recs, No Recs, and Bounce.  
Impressions Impressions Sum of page_areas per (campaign, strategyid)  
Placement Clicks Clicks on products in recommendation placements.  
Placement Views View of products in recommendation placements.  
Revenue per visit The value of Sales over the number of Visits (see Outlier below) Sales / Visits
Total visits A user's events split by gaps of no activity for more than 30 minutes. This is a better entity than Session because it is not device specific: a visit can cross devices.  
Units per order The number of units per order.  
View Conversion Rate The number of orders over the total number of views. Total Orders / Total Views
Visit Count Total number of visits.  
View Revenue Per Visit The number of Sales over the total number of views. Total Sales / Total Views
Visit with no purchases A visit that does not include a Purchase event.  
Visit with purchases A visit that includes a Purchase event.
